This hotel is in an excellent central location, particularly if you are taking a ferry or train. It's in walking distance of a number of restaurants, pubs, and attractions. The building and decor are somewhat old-fashioned, but the hotel is clean and quite comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Luggage storage is available. Our room was quite spacious and well-appointed with a kettle, tea, coffee, cocoa, snacks, and cold water in the mini-fridge. The bed was comfortable, and linens and towels were of good quality. The shower was excellent, spacious and good water pressure. My only complaint was our bathroom's odd layout, with the toilet and sink up a step from the main floor. Hazardous in the dark when you're sleepy! Wifi was acceptable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We only stayed for a few hours as our flights were so delayed we checked in well after 2am. Check in was very quick & friendly, breakfast the next morning was delicious. Parking was 10£ which is in the back of building.

Really fab value hôtel with helpful, professional staff. Nothing was too much trouble. You can leave luggage and they have a flexible check out policy. Very handy. The refurbished rooms are lovely. Location is amazing to explore the city. Opposite the main train station and a large shopping centre with cinema / restaurants. Very easy to get about on foot and explore the museums, gym, yoga classes as well as the rest of Aberdeen. Close to the big ships heading to Shetland etc too so quite wow to see.

This hotel presents well and the staff are great, being friendly and helpful. The rooms are reasonably spacious, clean and comfortable. Only issue is the outside noise! The windows aren't double pane, so you here the traffic and noise from the people coming and going from the railway station, all night. They provide ear plugs though! Our bathroom was a little average, with loose tiles and grout missing near the shower. The bottom of the doorwas all mouldy and water damage. Needs some maintenance. Parking is fine, but not sure how safe I'd feel during a late evening.

Beautifully decorated rooms, ultra comfortable bed with massive bath to relax in after a hearty meal. The dinner was 10/10 with steak being expertly prepared and cooked to perfection. Staff were warm and welcoming!

Been to this hotel a few times .rooms 1 to 4 are very cold in winter. This time we had a lovely warm room at the back of the hotel. Staff are always friendly. Decided to have dinner in the restaurant with family as it stated on the menu there was loads of gluten free choices only to be told I could only have grilled chicken .we did speak to a waiter afterwards with our concerns and he was very nice and apologetic. They really need to change there menu .we will definitely stay here again but mabye not use the restaurant in the evening.

Stayed over the weekend with my partner and the boy in one of the family rooms. We had a minor issue with the wheelchair ramp on the way in but the staff were hugely responsive, just just for that but in general, and the experience was a great one.
